Dagel Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 (edited) I'd appreciate any wisdom on the best way to structure a MySQL/FM 9 solution. Is it best to always copy the MySQL raw data into FM9 or is that unnecessary and an acceptable/safe practive to use the "live" data and utilize FileMaker's feature set to extend it? Thanks! mr_vodka Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 It really depends on what you have planned for the integration. What do you have in mind that you want to do with it? ESS is great for some things, but it was not intended to be a "Front end" into an external SQl database.
