When using Global fields in a Multi-shared DB over the network, are Global fields unique to each session (client) running?.

The idea is as follows; I would like one DB to accept the users ID number and hold this in a Global field, that way everytime they do a new time/material entry the user ID gets automatically stamped with the ID they entered into the Global field.

This saves them entry their ID for each new entry.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks

You are correct, globals are unique per session.
