How do I automate the filename when printing to .pdf?

I am hoping that somebody has come across this problem before and can share your insights. Thanks.

I am using FM Developer 6. I have a found set of student records and am printing transcript reports out to .pdf file. (One .pdf file per student transcript - prefect) My problem is that FM wants the user to manually input the file name each time it comes to the 'print' script step in my loop. Is there a way to pass a filename variable to the 'print dialog' box? I have over 12,000 student transcripts to print to .pdf and don't want to manually input the filename each time.

The functionality is not available natively in FMP 6. Everything that you ask for can be done in FMP 8.5 and later.

It might be do-able in FMP 6 with third-party plug-ins, it even so it will be more work.
