November 18, 200817 yr Newbies Hi All: After updating my FileMaker Adv. Pro to 8.5v2 (Mac OSX 10.5.5) to fix the Excel issue, I was no longer able to access the databases on our FileMaker Server (FileMaker Server 9 on a Mac OS X 10.5.5) After our IT guy did some R&D he found an article on this forum that said the SSL cert was the issue. He downloaded the fms_9.0.3.326_mac_ssl_updater to the server and followed the instructions on it's application, then restarted the server. The issue still remains post reboot. If the IT guy turns off SSL we can see the databases, while SSL is checked we cannot. Any help is much appreciated! (the IT guy is trying to avoid having to re-install the server component with the date set prior to Sep. 22 2008) TIA!
November 18, 200817 yr They did not create a patch for older version of FileMaker. You must use the workaround. http://filemaker.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/filemaker.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=6995
