November 19, 200817 yr I'm creating a Windows only (for now at least) EMail plugin and just wondered what features I should add to it, ideally from people who do/have used email plugins in the past. At the moment I have: Supports connecting to SMTP, IMAP and POP Servers Can send emails, with attachments Can Download Email Headers Can download Messages + Attachments Oh and it's going to be totally free -) Just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on features to add to it? Thanks Dempsey

November 19, 200817 yr SSL encryption. HTML embedding. Also optional log (FM table preferably ) to be turned on for all email tranactions. Edited November 19, 200817 yr by Guest
November 19, 200817 yr Author SSL encryption. Which would be the best way to add that, just as a parameter to the Moo_MailConnect function? HTML embedding. Do you mean sending HTML emails? I'll add that. Also optional log (FM table preferably ) to be turned on for all email tranactions. I'll think about that one, could have an optional log file created, or the log data get sent to a field. Thanks for the feedback -)
December 1, 200817 yr Make sure it works with IWP through the client. The majority of the email plugins only work on IWP through the server.. One that I finally found that works with the client version is the mail.it plugin..
December 2, 200817 yr Author I will try make it work with IWP, wasn't aware that most plugins didn't work with it, will have to look into that.

May 21, 200916 yr Author I'd forgotten I'd never actually gotten around to posting up a copy of MooMail! I've not come up with a proper sample file yet, btu there are a few files which show some of the usage so you should be able to figure it out. Any comments/questions/suggestions/feedback welcome.
