Does any1 been capable of scheduling a backup with destination folder in a network mapped drive? im using w2003 and FMS 9.03.

When ever i try to insert a backup folder that is not on a local drive i cannot validate the path.

Any help welcome.

I don't think that this is supported. I believe you need to use software that takes a FMS backup and then moves it to another volume. You can't backup to a remote volume directly.

It's possible on Windows, but it's not such a good idea. Make a local backup and then force that out to a network drive.
