Serial number gets reset to 1

Hi

I have a field with an Auto-enter serial number that a user claims is reset to 1 for no apparent reason.

The only script I have that touches this is a "Remove record" where you are prompted to only remove the last record you created. Apart from removing the record it sets the next serial number to the one you just deleted. The user claims that she has not used this button/script so should not have anything to do with this particular script.

Any ideas how this could happen?

Client: FMP7 on Windows
