RalphL Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Take a look at this. www.fmforums.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/194054/ Also FMP has an auto-entered serial number.
comment Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Maybe you're looking for something like this: http://fmforums.com/forum/showpost.php?post/204677/ Note: As you can tell from getting so wildly different answers, your question is not very clear.
Newbies JConway33 Posted December 8, 2008 Author Newbies Posted December 8, 2008 I will try to clerify my question. In my database I have (3) fields. (2) fields contain text and (1) field contains numbers. I wish to combine those fields into an ID field in order that I will have uniqueness and not duplicate record information. The application is for a checking account, which they are identifide with (1) check#, (2) checkState and (3) BankID I trying to keep the same check from being entered in multible times. Thanks John
