?? Does it make a difference?

I know you have to bind for either Mac or Windows but I'm curious if there is a version difference also.....

FileMaker runtime solutions created for Windows XP work fine with Vista. In all truth some of them work better than FileMaker Client.

FileMaker Client had many issues prior to FileMaker 'patching' Vista fixes; however, I have seen a FileMaker 7 runtime work with Vista.

I certainly wouldn't create a FileMaker 7 runtime for Vista, but i have done about a hundred runtime solutions in FMP9 and never had a Vista issue...

Now if only I can figure out why it doesn't always open up......... (other thread I posted)
