Hi Gurus!

I need to PRINT an order receipt... imagine this is a simple POS application.

I've got the order screen all done, with line items and I want a PRINT button to activate a script and print my receipt.

What printers are out there for this use?

10 years ago, I used Star Micronics 3 or 4-inch wide dot matrix printers... are these still around?

We need 2-part paper, so we don't want a thermal printer... must be impact and not a full 8.5 inch wide normal printer.

Anyone had success at doing this recently with FM5?

I'll be using Win98 or ME... and possibly a networked printer when a 2nd station is added.

ps - while we would prefer not to use thermal, if you think thermal is better with today's technology (and I could just print 2 copies), then please tell why.
