FM10 & Citrix Presentation Server

Featured Replies

We've been running FM Pro 9 on two virtual Citrix servers with no problem for a while now.

We decided to upgrade them to FM Pro 10, after seeing favorable results from regular desktop users.

Strange, but as soon as we installed and ran FM Pro 10 on the Citrix servers is when the problems started. When one user logs in and starts using FM, the CPU load stays at about 45 to 50 percent. Second user logs in and runs FM10, the CPU load is at 90-95%. Third and subsequent users are so slow it's unusable.

When it was rolled back to FM9, then everything is hunky-dorey.

From what I've been told, the only change to these servers has been the FileMaker software upgrade.

The two servers are exactly alike in hardware & software configurations. Has Presentation Server V4.5, and Clients are running V9.0.3 & 10.

Has anyone else come across this problem and/or offer any kind of help?

Not sure if this is the issue but they upgraded the client requirements with 10 from 9.

Yea, I just noticed that the tested versions had changed slightly. After running the 'suggested' versions, still no difference....
