Timefield behaviour change 9 vs 10

I am exchanging data between 9 and 10. I have some time fields that go to MySQL.

The client entered '18' into the time field, FM9 displays 18:00, but the field really contains 18. That won't work when importing the data into the ESS. It gives me a NULL.

However in FM10 if you enter 18 and later click into the field you'd get 18:00:00.

Confirmation of this ?
