Please excuse my lack of understanding of ODBC at the most basic level. I have read the help files but my questions are more basic than that. I work in FMP9 and will probably upgrade to 10 soon.

Q1. Can I access information from data sources over the internet like an online database that I would usually enter data into manually, on line banking, stock prices.... etc. Or is this ODBC just for connecting to other types of databases on my computer?

Q2. If so, how do I know what type of data source I am trying to access, and how do I choose it when using the ODBC administrator in Mac OSX?
