Skipi Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Hi, I'm looking to build a product selector database. If I choose a size, i want it to only show the product in that size. (i have this part working). When I select the product, I want to then only show the sub items related to that product, and again for the next level down. I've tried various methods to get it to work, but I'm stumped! I've attached a sample of what I'm trying to do. Thanks for your help in advance, Skip Test_Product_Cat.fp7.zip
Brian C Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Looking at your example, it is difficult to see what you are trying to accomplish workflow wise... You have relationships and seem to be using them in some manner for related value lists to filter out data... Perhaps if you provided a little more detail as to what you would like your solution to do step by step, it would help us to help you.
Skipi Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 Hi, I found this attachment from Topic#181645, it has a conditional value list that selects state/province by country. ie USA -> Texas, California etc. This part I can figure out, what I want to do is add the next level. So I get a conditional value list that will only show cities in that state/province. Ie from country list, select USA -> this shows list of Texas, California, Maine, then select California -> this will only show San Fran, LA in the value list. I hope this is a bit more clear. Many thanks, Skip CONDBASIC_Copy.fp7.zip
