Hi,

Is it possible to create a common button bar for multiple layouts?

I created one a few years ago, but if I needed to add or change the behavior of a button, I had to copy/paste the button on each layer that would have the button bar.

This way is not very "maintenable".

Do you have a better idea?

Put the buttons on a separate layout and display them in a window next to the main window. This will require double clicking, one to select window and one to click on button.

Is it possible to lock the windows position?

Use the kiosk mode if you are using advanced.

Actually, I've never used kiosk mode before. Is it possible in kiosk mode to connect to remote DB?

I don't believe that the kiosk mode changes anything but the display.
