so, i installed the automator actions so that i could use them with ottomate actions to automatically fill in web forms with data that is in my fmp database. works like a charm...sadly, at the end of my automator application, i have it send an email with some of the data that i have pulled from the database. now, i've done this many times in the past by just setting a variable of whatever information i'm pulling and then adding the uuid into the email action (ex. $(E4689E65-7C1F-4391-B7C9-C7D8459CAF91) this would be the uuid of one of the variables.) but when i set the variables from the filemaker record, it comes up like this (this is an random password generator that i have filling in the password field).....

plus, any email address that is coming out of the database comes out with quotes around it.....

any idea why? or how to fix this? it works fine when it's input into the web form, but in the email it's adding the brackets and carriage returns.

am i the only person who has ever tried this?
