ESS : FM loses primary key

I am building a front end to a mysql database. It works quite well, but once in a while the FM-scripts stop working.

On inspecting the layout based on the table FM-says that there is no primary key in the SQL-table.

However, there IS a key in the SQL-table. After I re-check the primary-key field everything starts working again.

Anyone got an idea how this might have happened ? / Why this happens ?
