Oh where did my tables go?:B I tried to set up a relationship. I've had these done for YEARS - since FM 4! So none of my records show up & I see

Is it because I saved a copy of a database with no records then changed/ renamed it for another, but similar use? Am I ruined?

The problem is that FMP looks for files by their name. If you rename a file... FMP won't be able to find it again.

In FMP 6 there is no way to change the file references (the became editable in FMP 7 and later). Try renaming the file back to its original name and seeing if it re-appears.

You might be able to fix the problem by re-defining the relationship again: select the renamed file.

The only way to rename files without breaking references is to use FMP Developer tool (later renamed FMP Advanced).
