I am new to filemaker. I want to run a script after I select a date from a drop down calendar. I am sure there must be an easy way to do this but I can't find it.

I don't think you can with out a script trigger. It looks like you are using Filemaker 9 so you would need to do it with a third party application like DoScript. http://myfmbutler.com/index.lasso?p=416

Now if you have Filemaker 10 this request become significantly easier.
