Printing in Filemaker 10

I have heard that they changed the Print script in Filemaker 10. Anyone know what they did to it?

Does it now work with multiple printers correctly?

The problem with version 9 and below is not with multiple printers. The problem is this, if the printer name is longer than 30 characters it will print to your default or last used printer instead of the one you selected.

I spoke to FM tech support and was told that this has been fixed in FM 10. Too bad they just want more money from us, instead of fixing this problem in FM 9.

No, it doesn't actaully. It's worse.

We have a command, get( printerName ).

FileMaker will tell you the name of the OS default printer. You can change the OS default printer. And this command will display the correct result.

But Filemaker doesn't print to that printer.
