agaperrk Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 File is not a filemaker file and is damage. When I use the recover command It will not recover. Is there anything that can be done??:? Thanks in advance
agaperrk Posted May 21, 2009 Author Posted May 21, 2009 Uhmmm recover will only recover FileMaker files... It is I was only quoting the error.
mr_vodka Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 The entire error states: "File is not a FileMaker Pro file OR is severely damaged" Anyway, unfortunately your file may be toast. I hope you have a recent backup. FMI used to offer a paid recovery service for these severe cases but I dont know if they provide it anymore. Perhaps you can zip a copy and either post it or PM someone who has FM10 to see if the enhanced recovery options may help.
