List view IWP limitation of 25?

Greetings everyone,

I am trying to push my boss into using filemaker as a solution for our ill's (It's a small startup).

I've tried seraching the layout forum without luck.

My question is, when displaying a columnar report of say, 100 records via IWP, the list is limited to displaying 25 items max for a page. I have to use the navigation panel to see the rest of the list.

So,..

1. Is this a hard limitation of 25 per page or can I change it to a list of say, 50+ entries?

2. If I cannot list all results on a single page in a columnar, is there a NEXT PAGE/LAST PAGE command I can script instead of using the navigation panel to the right of the columnar report?

My sincere gratitude for your help.

Regards,

S2

Well a little understanding of the terminology and I've answered my own question,...

What I refer to in colmnar is called "pagination" and it's an (over)limitation of Filemaker. I dunno why they had to limit it to such a small number but now I am investigating a solution.

Hope this helps others new to this awesome db app.

Regards,

Hi S2MAN !

I have the same problem. I have a calendar -solution and there is a problem because months have more days than 25. One solution is to use portals. Have you tried that ?
