Newbies jacki488 Posted June 3, 2009 Newbies Share Posted June 3, 2009 is there a an easy script to grey out a button for restricted priviliges? for example the staff has access to only certain layouts but there are buttons that take them to those layouts; true they will not have access because of their limited priviliges already setup in 'manage database' but can i have those buttons greyed out on the layout? mr_vodka
You can use conditional formatting based on their privilege set to change the button look.

mr_vodka
Well you should do the check in the script itself or you can hide the button using the visibility trick or multiple hidden tabs. You can find these techniques on these forums with an advanced search
