Unable to install 360Works ScriptMaster on my Mac

Featured Replies

Hello, I am attempting to install 360Works ScriptMaster on my Mac but am getting error messages. The messages I am getting are: The plugin 360Works_ScriptMaster is not installed on your computer, and is not available for auto update from the server. Also The ScriptMaster Plugin is not installed. Drag it to your FileMaker Extensions folder, quit filemaker, and restart.

I have dragged the ScriptMaster plugin to my FileMaker Extensions folder, quit filemaker and restarted however I still get the same not installed error messages. I have checked my system requirements and I have the latest version of Mac OS/X and I did a check for software updates and was not prompted to download a newer version of JAVA. I believe I have the most recent version of JAVA but I've never used JAVA so I'm not sure how to check this. If anybody could help me out here I would appreciate it. Sincerely, George

Hi, I was able to get the plugin to install. I had dragged the 360Works Scriptmaster folder into the Filemaker Extensions folder. What I needed to do was take the 360Works_ScriptMaster.fm plugin out of the 360Works ScriptMaster Folder and place the plugin itself inside the extensions folder. Leaving the plugin inside the 360Works_ScriptMaster folder was not sufficient. However now the particular utility I wish to use Get URL as Text will not register at startup. I first check the Register at Startup checkbox which takes me to the GetURLasText() register screen, when I click the register at startup button I get the following error message: An error occurred trying to register this function. First click the "Register Function" button and then click this box. This error message doesn't make much sense to me. There is no Register Function button, there are two register function buttons one for registering at startup and a second to register once. There is also one register at startup checkbox. In any case these two buttons and the checkbox just put me into a loop that continues to give me the error trying to register this function message. If anybody has any ideas about what I am doing wrong I would appreciate the help. Sincerely, George
