I'm trying to use firefox for my webviewer instead of IE. I did change the default browser setting with no success.

Is there a way to do this in Vista 64?

FileMaker Pro uses the operating system's webkit: on Mac OS X it's Safari and on WindOS it's IE. This is completely independent of the default browser, and there is no way to change it.

That sucks as it makes javascript slow and buggy.
