Long wait time for preview

Newbies

When I go to preview my reports I have a long wait time waiting for it to process the data.

I imagine I've not configured my data /relationships in-correctly. I have basically 4 tiers of tables in my relationships with the bottom tiers calculations being passed to the upper ones. All being additionally processed at each level.

What can I do to help eliminate some of this processing?

Unstored calculations and summaries of them can really bog down with large record sets. You could export the data and report on that, or use stored fields instead of calculations.
