automatic resizing and positioning?

hi all,

I have a field that contains a description of each record. In my layout, this field is just above a picture.

My problem is that some records have longer descriptions than others, and i would like the picture to always be immediately below the last line of text. Is it possible for the field to automatically resize in length according to its contents, and for the picture to move up or down in relation to the bottom of the text field?

Not really in browse mode. There may be a work around using some kind of monospace to accurately figure out how many characters and a script trigger that goes to different hidden tabs or layouts where the field itself it bigger w/ the container field placed in the position that you want.
