John Chamberlain
I have an old FMP 5 file that I want to use as a framework for a new FMP 7 file. I opened the old file and saved it as a clone; I then opened the clone and deleted all passwords. When I tried to open the old file in FMP 7 it asks for a password. I tried the old file's password, but it won't accept that. Why is it asking for this in the first place, and what do I do to get FMP 7 to let me into this file? Thanks
Fitch
Try user name "admin" with no password.
John Chamberlain
Tried "admin" as a name - sorry to say, it did not work.
Fitch
Are you sure you removed all passwords from the old file?
