July 3, 200916 yr Newbies I'll keep it short and simple. When I print my database records from a Mac, it looks like all of the text is high enough in its respective fields to account for hanging characters, e.g. lower-case y or g, so that the 'tail' part is fully displayed inside the field. However, when I print the same records from a PC with equivalent Print and Print Setup options, all of the text is sitting right on the baseline of each field and the hanging characters' 'tails' are cut off and do not print. This causes lower-case Ys to look like Vs, etc... Is this an issue with my layout, font choice, or some kind of printing problem? How can I ensure consistency of print output independent of current platform (mac or pc)? Thank you,
July 3, 200916 yr It's the joy of x-plat development. Always do final layout on Windows. Fonts aren't ever the same x-plat and if I recall, take up more room on Windows. I stick with Verdana and Tahoma.
