Wickerman Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Is there a means of muting audio that emerges from a web-page displaying in a web viewer, short of turning off sound on my computer? What's particularly problematic is that the audio continues even after moving off one record and onto the next. I'd think this would be a common problem for which there is some simple solution? fseipel Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 The webviewer uses an Embedded internet explorer window. Therefore, the settings you make in your internet explorer (security, etc) ought to carry over to Filemaker. If the audio is embedded, try disabling 'play sounds in webpages' in Explorer. If the audio is coming from Flash, you could disable Flash, but then, you won't be able to view pages using Flash. To stop music from continuing when a new record is displayed, try using buttons to navigate records, and go to a blank URL when user is on a different record.
