May 23, 200124 yr First of all, FM Runtime is not networkable. As to a runtime solution, this depends upon the level of protection and more importantly the license for use you have agreed to. If it is a single user license, use with multiple users on a server may be a legal violation. If this is a runtime solution you have created, it was created in FM and can be shared. FM to FM operation via TCP and a modem is seldom satisfactory from a speed standpoint. Web access of the FM database severely limits the sorts of features and screen displays possible. Depending upon the nature of your solution, this may or may not be a problem. A third option is to use a product such as Timbuktu (Mac) or Citrix Server (Mac & PC) to run the FM client(s) on a local machine controlled remotely. Timbuktu or PC Anywhere both require one local machine for each remote client. Citrix Server support multiple sessions of MS Windows and FM on the same machine. Using this approach, FM processing is done on the local machine, only screen display and keyboard and mouse commands are sent to and from the remote machine. Citrix is quite fast, even over a modem, but an installation can run over $10,000. -bd
