Searching for multiple values

Is it possible to search a single field for "X or Y"? For example, if I want to search a field called Client and have the found set include all of the invoices for both Microsoft and Apple. Can I do this from find mode / scripting or do I have to use portals?

Create two requests, one for Microsoft, one for Apple.
