filtering valuelist based on self?

I have a portal where I'm building a list of parts and quantities for a model. The parts I want in my valuelist is a subset of all the parts: I just want the parts that are assemblies. assemblies have a value of 1 in the isAssembly calculated field of the part. How do I get just the assemblies? Do I somehow join the part table to itself or :

I have searched on conditional valuelists and have not discovered an appropriate solution.
