Arabic layouts

Featured Replies

Hi all,

As you know Middle eastern languages such as Hebrew and Arabic are written predominantly right-to-left. Numbers are written with the most significant digit left-most.

So is there's any one have an Arabic layouts as an example.

thanks in advance

For simple needs, I believe you can get away with just setting the font (a Unicode font with Arabic/Hebrew glyphs) and aligning text to the right. However, it doesn't work well for a mixture of text and numbers.

For a true bidi implementation, you'll need to purchase the Middle East version of Filemaker from WinSoft:

Is there a way to change the FileMaker Templates alignment from left to right ?

Not in the regular version. The Middle East version has a "Mirror Layout" feature, but I have never used it so I cannot say how well it works.
