Login script with users from value list

PLEASE HELP!

I would like to make a log in screen where people select there user name from a drop down list then type in their password to gain access ONLY to their HR record.

example:

If username(a field) and usernamepassword(another field) match, then go to layout "demographic info" but show no other records.

The users should be able to change their password and have it emailed to them if they forget it. (emailing part is not that big of a deal) An administrator should be able to enable their account or disable it if needed.

Also, I would like to set up permissions based on admins and general users. example, admins can see all users information, change anyones info, disable their account, make new admins, ect.

I would perfer to not go through the FM security as I dont want to create 100s of account names.
