Can't get into hosted file as admin

Featured Replies

This has happened to me a couple times and I was wondering if there were an easier way to fix my problem. I moved a file from my desktop to the server and hosted it. Once hosted the file will no longer let me type in my admin password in order to update the file. In the past I've had to find the old copy, import records and reload after changing the user preferences. Is there an easier way? This particular file is not as easy to import records as there are portals of data and the normal user login will not allow me modify layouts etc...

Moving a file to the server wont disable the full access account.

Are you having issues with the process of getting to enter in an other account or are you having issues with the credentials dialog?

I am having trouble with the credentials dialog

What is the error message if any you are receiving?

  • Author

"Your Access Priviledges do not allow you to perform this action"

Are you sure that the account that you are logging in with has full access?

I created the database and had an account created with full access. I uploaded it to the server and now I cannot use that login and password. I don't know why. This has happened before. Originally I forgot to check the access via filemaker network box in that priviledge set.

I've uploaded the file. Thanks!
