David Stark Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 I'd appreciate the FMPro's community input on this because it could be a deal breaker if I cannot come up with a solution to overcome a user limitation. I'm beginning a health-care related project that looks like it will expand beyond the 999 user limit of FileMaker Pro Server. Though it is not likely that I'll reach that limit within the next year. I have to plan that it will occur and how we can deal with it and keep the solution on FileMaker Pro. Has anyone dealt with this issue, in theory or practice, and what ways are there to deal with it?
Fitch Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 FileMaker has a certain "sweet spot" that is suited to work groups of a certain size. It sounds like you ought to be looking at some other software. That said, it might be possible to split up your users and use some kind of synchronization routines, e.g. SyncDek.
