Runtime front end to MySQL

A relative newbie, I have almost finished my first application but wondered whether I could create a front end run-time version that links to a MySQL back end.

I was hoping for the design flexibility of FM at the front avoiding IWP or a browser solution generally.

Is this possible? Or is there some other solution to this?
