Does anyone have any ideas of how to work around the limitations of not being able to use the save record as a PDF on the filemaker server 9 advanced?

Can you run a 'robot' machine - i.e. another machine that is permanently running a script to do the PDF export?

I will keep that in mind. I think I'm going to start by installing FM Client on the server and then maybe using automater and applescript to accomplish what i need.

FM Client won't run when FMServer is active on the same machine, so you can't 'robot' on that machine.
