Currently I'm trying to create a layout for a report with text boxes. It about a Q&A. So, each record has the same questions, but the length of the answers can vary quite a lot from one record to another.

If I create a layout with fields that have a "fixed" sizes, I'll see some answers as complete, but some others will be only half displayed (depending of the length of the answer). How can I format the text box of the fields so that they automatically get the right size according to the length of the answer.

Could somebody help me with that?

Unfortunately fields do not resize to fit their content in FMP - except when using sliding techniques in preview mode.

For browse mode you can apply a scroll bar to fields, that way you will get a visual clue to that fact their is more data than can be shown as the scroll bar will become active.
