does any one know why you can mo longer change the order of the layouts once a database is hoseted by fm server. because i like to group my layouts together and when i create a layout on a database on the server it is just added to the end and the option to move it around in the layout menu is greyed out

This is just something that you cannot do with a hosted database. It has always been this way.

It might be possible with FM Server 5.5 -- other previously "impossible" things like defining fields can be done now.
