Steven1337 Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Someone before me added super container to our file maker server 9 and we had not used it until now. I added a super container field to one of the layouts in the databse and it works just fine. But when i log into IWP this comes up inside the SC field Address Not Found Firefox can't find the server at 199049-app2. The browser could not find the host server for the provided address. * Did you make a mistake when typing the domain? (e.g. "ww.mozilla.org" instead of "www.mozilla.org") * Are you certain this domain address exists? Its registration may have expired. * Are you unable to browse other sites? Check your network connection and DNS server settings. * Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing. Im not sure what could be causing this. Thoughts?
Smef Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 (edited) Are you using an internal IP address and then accessing IWP from outside of your network? If this is the case, you will need to change the IP to one which can be accessed externally. Also, you will need an enterprise license to use SuperContainer with IWP. Please make sure that you have the correct license version. Edited September 4, 2009 by Guest
agutleben Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 To add to what David already stated, it could also be that you need to route traffic from the WAN address to the LAN address by setting up port forwarding in your router. SC uses port 8020.
