I have a client who is trying to insert a picture into a container field, using "Store as Reference Only". Her file is 400kb, jpeg. The application is in FMP 6 and she is running on Vista. She is getting a JPEG error #25. She can insert other jpeg files

on a Google search, I could only find 1 reference to that error code, but the site is no longer active!!

I was able to get to the old website; it was cached.

In case anyone is interested, the problem is CMYK vs RGB color palette. FMP 6 cannot convert the colors in a CMYK file (not sure if the later versions of FMP are the same or can support CMYK files??)

The JPEG image is CMYK instead of RGB.

Convert them to RGB and it should work.

The application is in FMP 6 and she is running on Vista

Vista support was only brought in 8.5v2, however the CMYK to RGB conversion is the correct fix.
