Depending on your set up files do update, but you have no record lock.

If all files exist in single computer (server) then yes files do update.

I cant seem to find this information anywhere. We want to host our fm 4.1 files on the web. We also access the files locally (through host button in fm 4.1). Since we are using fm server and fm web companion do they link or update each other when using fm to update or web. Is this where I need to use 3rd party plugins and if so what can we use?
