Newbies Steve_A Posted September 11, 2009 Newbies Posted September 11, 2009 Hi sorry if this has been asked already Anyhoo ..... I have been using FMP for a while but have had a few years off! I've just purchased FMP Advanced version 10. In the old days you could prepare a PC runtime solution on the mac for the PC (I think it was developer version 6?) How do I create PC versions of my runtime projects for the PC from my Mac? Or am I up to purchasing a copy of Advanced for the PC as well? Thanks!
Raybaudi Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Or am I up to purchasing a copy of Advanced for the PC as well? No, the same CD can install FileMaker on both OS. To make a runtime for a PC, you'll need to use a PC.
Stuart Taylor Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Or using Windows virtualization on the Mac (Bootcamp etc…)
Newbies Steve_A Posted September 12, 2009 Author Newbies Posted September 12, 2009 Ah thanks for that people! The interesting thing was that I had purchased this as a down load and it was a few months ago. Call to FMP support and they re set my link to the down load and I could get hold of the PC version of FMP advanced, which I have duly installed on my Vmware version of Xp. Problem solved! : Thanks again Steve
