stanley Posted January 10, 2002 Posted January 10, 2002 I'm hosting a database with images in it, and the images do not show up on the remote machines - all the other data is fine. The images are PICTs, which may be the problem. The thing is, FM is drawing the frame for each image in the correct dimensions, and the images appear when I use the single-user version on the host computer. Any ideas?
Kurt Knippel Posted January 10, 2002 Posted January 10, 2002 Where are the images located? Are they stored or referenced?
stanley Posted January 11, 2002 Author Posted January 11, 2002 Originally they were referenced, in the same folder as FM server, next to the databases. Yesterday, just to make the thing work, I put some of the images into the db, stored, and now it works. However, once all the images go in, the db with the images will be something like 900 MB in size, which I can't imagine is good. So I'd still like to keep the images separate. Perhaps there's a way to store the images on all the client machines? There's only a dozen so it's not a problem...
