I am trying to run both Server 3.0 and Server 5.0 on the same Windows 2000 Server CPU. The FM Server 5.0 service will not start. Event error says that temp file is missing. I looked the error up in the FM knowledge base and it mentions remnents of FM Server 3.0 as a possible problem.

My question is: Is there any way to run Server 3.0 and 5.0 on the same machine?

That is the strangest request so far!

You should avoid trying to do this, especially when using TCP/IP as the network protocol.
