New fields pasted to a form mess up the tab order

When I copy fields to a layout, from another layout, the new fields are added to the tab order. These fields, by design, will never be included the tab order, so I have to redo the tab order for the form.

Is there a property or attribute that I can assign to these fields which will keep them from being added to the tab order when they are copied to another form?
