rather.. I looking for 'by reference'

I got a button that calls this command..

GetFileAsContainer

If I exit FM, i would think I have to click button again.. but image is still there. I also renamed the image file.. and my code still sees image

This command will embed the file in the container. I believe you will need to use FileMaker's scripting if you wish to store by reference.
