Matt Leach Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I'm currently running FileMaker Server 10 and am hosting 4 databases. I have roughly 12 users accessing the system. My question is in regards to the list of databases available on the Open Remote File dialog. I know that in the Server configuration that you can set the option to "List only the databases each user is authorized to access" option which works good, but it is a bit of a pain to have to enter your username/password to show the list, then enter the username/password again to enter the database. Is there any way to accomplish the same security without having to enter your credentials twice? Thank you in advance.
Vaughan Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Since you're using Windows, you could implement external authentication which will allow single sign-on (SSO). This will avoid the authentication entirely.
